If you go from Bar through the tunnel Sozina, you'll reach the town Virpazar. It is a small picturesque town, formerly known largest Montenegro bazaar.

Once upon a time this place was called Vir, because the river here has created a whirlpool (ie "sup" in Montenegrin). During the time of the lord Peter I, who was the Montenegrin Metropolitan in 1784-1830 gg., Vir became a busy trade center. On the local market people brought goods from many cities and regions in order to share them with each other. Probably why the city and got its present name - Virpazar
